The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Master's Degree and Secondary Principal Certification with successful experience as a classroom teacher or school administrator and demonstrate the following: Student-centered philosophy and desire to build relationships with students and families Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents Solid written and verbal communication skills adaptable to a wide array of audiences Ability to motivate and inspire staff, set high expectations, and hold staff accountable Expertise in analyzing, understanding, and explaining student assessment data along with utilizing the data as an impetus for school improvement planning Knowledge and experience of PBIS Knowledge of the NEE Teacher Evaluation system
